“At Dawn” („Na uranku“) – the first Serbian opera

The first Serbian opera, entitled “At Dawn” („Na uranku“) and composed by Stanislav Binički was performed on November 20th in the fully-packed Cultural Centre. The opera was rendered in the form of a concert, with piano accompaniment. It features four opera singers and a narrator, who, in an interesting and educational manner, connected the music scenes and acquainted the audience with the historical significance of this opera, which is a gem of our national cultural heritage.
