Mining as an initiator of economic development

On 17 November 2014, the Metropol Palace hotel in Belgrade hosted the fourth International Conference on Mineral Resources in the Republic of Serbia, entitled “Mining as an Initiator of Economic Development”.

The discussion of the gathering focused on mining development potentials,  the modernization of the mining sector, safety at work issues, possibilities for new investments, new national and European rules and regulations on the exploitation of mineral assets and the new law implementation results. Within a panel discussion, the general manager of company Rudnik, Mr Aco Ilić, delivered a speech on the following topic  “Mining – a Driving Force of Economic Development”.
