Company Rudnik takes part in snow clearing in the local community

As a socially responsible company and an enterprise trained in emergency situations, in coordination with the Municipal Headquarters Gornji Milanovac for emergencies.

In January 2019, in coordination with the Gornji Milanovac Municipal Staff for Emergency Situations, company Rudnik employed its own machinery and motor vehicles for snow removal (on the local categorized and uncategorized roads) in the area of the Rudnik and Majdan local communities and on all the access roads and passages used by the locals of the two communities, along with the clearing of accesses to cemeteries, to the church in Majdan and to Mt Rudnik, as well as on side roads and streets in the inhabited area of Rudnik.

Four machines were in operation for 144 working hours in total. A snow plow with a salt spreader (snow clearing truck) was employed and it cleaned 541 km of roads in total. Six construction machine operators and two drivers were engaged in this work and some 1,480 liters of fuel were spent.

Despite the emergency situations and bad weather circumstances, the clearing of snow off the local roads led to the normal functioning of the local community within the shortest period possible.
